Summary
Based on the teardown the repairability of the HMD Crest Max 5G seems to be pretty good. While there are some positive aspects such as the lack of adhesive and easy accessibility to the battery there are also several negative aspects such as the need to disassemble multiple components and remove plastic and metal covers. The availability of OEM spare parts and self-repair tutorials is a positive aspect. Overall I would give the device a score of 9.0 out of 10 for repairability primarily because HMD is making an effort to make their phones repairable.
