Summary
The OPPO R9S shows a generally moderate level of repairability. Its back cover can be removed easily without adhesive or the need for a heat gun and the battery cable and battery are readily accessible with convenient pull tabs to assist removal. The screen and its cable can also be taken out without having to dismantle many other components simplifying screen repairs. However the use of adhesive on the battery adds difficulty and accessing internal cables requires removing plastic covers and metal plates over connectors. Additionally the presence of Torx screws adds another minor complication as they require specific tools.
