Summary

The iPad Air 11 presents significant challenges to repairability primarily due to extensive use of adhesive on both the back cover and battery making disassembly time-consuming and risky. Accessing internal components requires the removal of the screen which is delicate and can easily be damaged as well as the mid-frame and metal plates covering cable connectors. Although pull tabs are provided for safer battery removal the overall design demands multiple layers of disassembly before reaching key parts resulting in a device that is moderately repairable at best.
